An extended holiday can range from a trip of a lifetime to just a long stay away – but life goes on while you’re enjoying yourself.

You can relax even more if you can keep an eye on your post while you are away, without having to rely on neighbours, relatives or others to collect and store it for you securely. And let’s face it, the last thing you want to welcome you home from a long holiday is a massive pile of opened post and the odd surprise that this can bring.

£12.00 a month including 40 page scans

ScanMyPost subscribers can give a service address to all important contacts – the bank, credit card companies, utility companies, local authorities, the taxman, pension companies and whoever else might send you something important.

When we receive an item of post on your behalf we’ll scan it and email you to let you know we’ve received it.

You can then log on to ScanMyPost, view the scanned image of the item, and can decide what you want us to do with it. In the absence of any instructions from you, we’ll keep it safe for a month and then have the item shredded and disposed of confidentially. If it’s important you can ask us to forward it – for a small packing and administration fee of from £3.50 (to include UK postage costs, any overseas postage costs are charged extra) – or store it – for a cost of 32p per item per month. Whatever you choose you’ll be able to view each scanned item for as long as you subscribe. You have total control.

For added peace of mind you can send yourself (to your ScanMyPost address) photocopies of your passport and of the front of the credit cards you take with you, so if they are lost or stolen, you’ll be able to retrieve details from your ScanMyPost account in moments.

We are also experts in identity fraud, so we’ll keep a watchful eye on the post you receive while you’re away, and if we spot anything suspicious, or that we know to be part of a serious identity theft scam, we’ll email you right away, ready to give you all the advice you need on how to protect your identity.

Compared to the cost of your extended break, and bearing in mind the peace of mind that this can bring, the costs are modest, and are based on your expected usage. Our Light user package costs £12.00 per month and includes 40 page scans a month. Any additional page scans cost 32p each.
